About the Project
The SR 132 West project is proposed to be developed and constructed in phases. The first phase, a two-lane expressway from SR 99 to North Dakota Avenue, has already been completed. The next phases will continue the work by:
- Extending the project as a two-lane expressway from North Dakota Avenue to Gates Road/Paradise Road with interchange improvements at SR 99 and SR 132, including a SR 99/SR 132 freeway-to-freeway connector, Kansas Avenue/SR 99 interchange improvements, overcrossings at Dakota Avenue and Hart Road, and a roundabout at Gates Road
- Expanding SR 132 to a four-lane expressway from Gates Road to SR 99, including interchanges at Carpenter Road, Hart Road, and Gates Road/Paradise Road
What Features Will Be Included?
SR 99/SR 132 Interchange
- Addition of SR 99/SR 132 connector ramps
- Replacement of Kansas Avenue overcrossing
- Addition of interchange ramps at SR 99/Kansas Avenue
- Addition of auxiliary lane on SR 99 South
Two Lanes from Gates Road to Dakota Avenue
- Creation of a new alignment of the highway
- Addition of a roundabout at SR 132/Gates Road/Paradise Road
- Addition of an overcrossing at Hart Road
- Addition of an overcrossing at Dakota Avenue
Four Lanes from Gates Road to SR 99
- Expansion into a four-lane expressway
- Addition of interchange ramps at Carpenter Road
- Addition of interchange ramps at Hart Road
- Addition of interchange ramps at Gates Road/Paradise Road
